Would you rather be confronted by The Haunted Horseman or the bird from Triple Raven?
This is sort of a lose-lose situation. No one really wants to be chased around Sleepy Hollow by a headless man atop a horse, and slowly losing your mind as a raven repeats ‘Nevermore’ doesn’t sound much fun either. Ultimately, I think I’d take being haunted by the raven, for the simple fact that it’s better to be insane and alive then headless and dead.
Who would win in a battle between the Dragons of Avalon and those from Split Dragon?
The Dragons of Avalon have two things going against them: they’re young, and they’re coddled. Look at that little guy, sitting on his mama’s shoulder, probably waiting on some dinner. He looks like he’s better at entertaining children than fighting, and I have to assume the rest of the Dragons of Avalon are the same. Maybe one day they’ll be tough, but the creatures from Split Dragon already look vicious. They are so dangerous they’re literally rending the sky with their mere presence. The Dragons of Avalon would be dead meat by the time these dudes got done with them.
Slot Fundamentals is a column we run occasionally to help our players better understand how our games work. This edition deals with Split Symbols, a popular feature that can be found in many of our games.
In a three by five reel slot game, one would assume that there can be no larger than a five-symbol win on the reels at any given time. One might also take far too long to figure out the basic math involved in the preceding sentence, but that is neither here nor there. High 5 Games, never content to simply churn out run-of-the-mill content, disproves that assumption with its innovative feature Split Symbols. But how exactly do Split Symbols work?
Split Symbols give players the chance to get up to 10 symbols (as opposed to five) on any given line, because any one spot can contain two symbols. This means that you can hit it twice as big in a Split Symbols game as in a regular game! Look for Split Symbols in High 5 Casino games like Desert Rose, Gypsy, and Shadow of the Panther and Shake the Sky games like Cirque Chinois, Fortune Cat Fever, and Split Dragon.
We hope you found that helpful! Which slot fundamental would you like to see us explain in the future?

Split Dragon features beautiful, unique art design that you simply won’t be able to find at other Facebook apps. Nick Chin, the art director of H5G’s Red Gold studio, was kind enough to talk to High 5 Blog about the new game:
“Split Dragon is filled with auspicious symbols, like kites, peaches, and koi fish, but the dragon is easily the most powerful symbol in the game. The title refers to the fact that there are actually two dragons, and when they both appear they bring players the most luck and the biggest jackpots. Jin [animator], Irvin [illustrator], and Xindi [production artist] all did a great job of combining 2D and 3D elements to create an interactive experience for players. There’s even a 3D dragon that jumps out at you, which is a lot of fun. It came out so well that we’re going to do a sequel!”
In typical High 5 Games fashion, Split Dragon has great gameplay to back up its top-notch art design. Split Symbols give players the chance to get up to 10 matching symbols on any given line, because any one spot can contain two symbols, while the Golden Dragon Bonus leads to unpredictable and exciting bonus rounds filled with big jackpots!
