Hi Lucinda, thanks for reaching out. Moving forward, we absolutely plan to release as many of our social games as possible in land-based casinos. We’ve been premiering our most recent games on Facebook because it’s the fastest way to get our games to our loyal players. By debuting our slots on High 5 Casino or Shake the Sky Casino, we’re able to evaluate what our players like, and build large audiences for our titles before they hit land-based casinos. Social games like Stella Drive and the Orb of Chance and Ocean’s Glory have already launched in land-based casinos through Bally Technologies, and other games, like White Lion and Empress of Time, are set to debut in land-based casinos soon, also through Bally Technologies. Pasión y Fuego is actually one of many games from our social apps that are releasing to land-based casinos through Bally Technologies in the future.

Brendan McNees writes, “How long does it take to make a game, from creating the basic concept, art, music, through to actual implementation?”

Hello Brendan, great question. High 5 Games is a comprehensive production company, meaning every aspect of game creation is handled in-house. This allows us to make the best games, because we’re in control of the entire process. First, we work to identify key features that will lead to exciting gameplay, and once we’re happy with the results, we move onto choosing the best theme. From there, we work on the game’s animations, graphics, and music, and then it goes through quality assurance, to make sure it plays flawlessly and is paying back correctly. Throughout the whole process, we’re tinkering with the game in an effort to constantly improve it. Typically, the whole process from start to finish takes six to nine months, and we’re always working on multiple games at one time.

I absolutely hear all your requests for an Android app; our community management team does an excellent job of sharing the feedback from our players, and I appreciate our players taking the time to let us know what they think.

I know there are thousands of people on the waiting list for Android. I, like you, am anxiously awaiting an Android release. We do our best on a daily basis to give our developers any support they need, so we can get the app out as soon as humanly possible. We expect to have a very high quality version of the app available when it releases.
