It was National Dog Day yesterday and High 5 Casino found the best way to celebrate this holiday! All proceeds from Facebook desktop $1 and $2 coin packages purchased between August 26th and August 27th 10am EDT will be donated to 4 Paws for Ability. Because of your love and support, High 5 Casino has raised $5,140 to help this organization continue providing service dogs to benefit children and veterans across the world. Hooray!
What is 4 Paws for Ability?
4 Paws for Ability enriches the lives of children with disabilities by training and placing quality, task-trained service dogs. This provides increased independence for the children and assistance to their families. And 4 Paws also works with veterans from recent conflicts who’ve lost the use of their limbs or their hearing while in active combat. Since its launch in 1998, 4 Paws has placed over 750 dogs in various countries. Not only that, 4 Paws was the first and largest organization in the U.S. to place Autism Assistance Dogs, and is recognized and recommended by several national Autism organizations. Hey Dorothy, we’re proud of what your daughter and son-in-law have been doing and thank you for sharing it with us! 🙂
Our daughter and son-in-law have begun building The Ruff Ranch Sanctuary, located in Virginia. The sanctuary will place dogs that are without homes, for one reason or another, into forever homes. The dogs will live at Ruff Ranch until they are adopted. If they are not adopted, they will live the rest of their lives at the ranch. No dog will be euthanized. They are going to build cottages on the ranch and will be hiring veterans to work with the dogs, giving each veteran a home while giving the dogs a caring companion until adopted.
