Father’s Day is this weekend and here at High 5 Casino, we wanted to do something special to honor all the great Dads out there! On Thursday, June 11th, we invited players to share with us the perfect meal they would like to make their dad for Father’s Day! Whether it be breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we wanted to hear about it! 100 winners were picked and have been awarded 200k H5C Coins!

We enjoyed sorting through the thousands of entries and reading all about your amazing dishes for your dad! My Dad loved BBQ. Franks, hamburgers, steaks it made non difference. Cole slaw, potato salad, ketchup and mustard made for his ideal meal.

Homemade sweet and sour meatballs, homemade baked macaroni and cheese, green beans, green salad with vinaigrette dressing, fresh cut varieties of fruit, pineapple upside down cake, and ice tea or bottled water. I don’t have a dad, but every one I know loves these foods when I make them. I have been asked to cook these items for over 40 years, no matter what event my family or friends have. A happy tummy makes the heart smile. If I had a dad, I know he would be happy too.

Sausages on mash with peas and pumpkin. Followed by Queen of puddings. The reason for this rather simple meal is because it was his favorite, if ever asked what he wanted this is the answer he would give.

I would buy him lobsters and make potato salad and coleslaw and serve him ciders. The reason I am choosing lobsters is because … my MOM loves lobsters!!!
