High 5 Fight Club

Today I’ll be offering my thoughts on two showdowns between four different High 5 Games slots. Take the polls below and let us know what you think!

Thunder Road vs. Rev it Up

Who’d win in a race between the bikers from Thunder Road and the drivers from Rev It Up?

Obviously, the drivers in Rev It Up know what they’re doing, but I think the edge here has to go to the bikers from Thunder Road, for a few reasons. For one, a motorcycle weighs way less than a car, so the bikers would be able to accelerate up to top speed way quicker than their four-wheeled competition. Furthermore, motorcycles are much easier to maneuver, which would help if the race was held in a crowded spot. There are just too many advantages to riding a motorcycle for the drivers in Rev It Up to overcome.

EDGE: Thunder Road

Cat Gangster vs. Fortune Cat Fever

Who’d win in a fight between the Cat Gangster and the feline from Fortune Cat Fever?

This one’s a no-brainer. Sure, the kitty from Fortune Cat Fever is no slouch, and he might even have some sharp claws. In a fair fight, he might be able to take down the Cat Gangster. But the Cat Gangster doesn’t want to fight fair. He’s a bad, bad dude who will do whatever it takes to win. Even though I’d probably root for the cat from Fortune Cat Fever to win, I’d still bet on that degenerate, evil Cat Gangster.

Game Spotlights: Cat Gangster and Fortune Cat Fever Debut at H5C

Attention all cat lovers! It’s a very feline week at High 5 Casino. Two new cat-themed titles have released unlocked! Think of these games as an early holiday gift from us – a couple new ways to unwind when you’re done braving the crowds and shopping for presents.

Cat Gangster premieres this week as the 118th game at High 5 Casino. It’s often said that the battle between cops and criminals is a cat-and-mouse game, and in Cat Gangster that idiom comes to life! Come along on a wild, stylized ride to a big city where the animals don’t just talk – they drink, fight, and connive! Will the eponymous feline ne’er-do-well of this game continue to live large with his illicit funds and beautiful girlfriend, or will he get taken down by a rat cop or a rival gorilla thug? Play Cat Gangster today and find out! Cat Gangster features 576 ways to win and Bonus Select, which leads to criminally large wins.

Shake the Sky fan-favorite Fortune Cat Fever also launches unlocked at High 5 Casino. Fortune Cat Fever originally launched on Shake the Sky in May, and the game is now bringing its good luck to players at H5C! The fortune cat is a common auspicious symbol that makes a beckoning motion with its paw and is meant to bring good fortune to its owner. Fortune Cat Fever features Split Symbols for double the wins, and a free games bonus.

Slot Fundamentals: Split Symbols

Slot Fundamentals is a column we run occasionally to help our players better understand how our games work. This edition deals with Split Symbols, a popular feature that can be found in many of our games.

In a three by five reel slot game, one would assume that there can be no larger than a five-symbol win on the reels at any given time. One might also take far too long to figure out the basic math involved in the preceding sentence, but that is neither here nor there. High 5 Games, never content to simply churn out run-of-the-mill content, disproves that assumption with its innovative feature Split Symbols. But how exactly do Split Symbols work?

Split Symbols give players the chance to get up to 10 symbols (as opposed to five) on any given line, because any one spot can contain two symbols. This means that you can hit it twice as big in a Split Symbols game as in a regular game! Look for Split Symbols in High 5 Casino games like Desert Rose, Gypsy, and Shadow of the Panther and Shake the Sky games like Cirque Chinois, Fortune Cat Fever, and Split Dragon.

We hope you found that helpful! Which slot fundamental would you like to see us explain in the future?

Game Preview: Fortune Cat Fever

Today’s post comes from High 5 Blog correspondent Ali.

We don’t know about you, but of all the cats in the world, our favorite is probably maneki-neko, more commonly known as fortune cat!

Lucky for us (and you), next week’s Shake the Sky release is Fortune Cat Fever and it has an abundance of our favorite feline. The fortune cat is a common lucky charm that makes a beckoning motion with its paw and is meant to bring good luck to its owner. The fortune cat is often depicted with a decoration around its neck, and in Fortune Cat Fever, you’ll notice all the cats wear collars with small bells. These accessories were common attire for wealthy household cats over 200 years ago in Japan; the bells helped owners keep track of the location of their furry friends.

Fortune Cat Fever features Split Symbols for double the wins, and a free games bonus. The fortune cats in this game wear lots of cool costumes, but keep your eye out in the bonus for a very special fortune cat… It’s none other than Elvis fortune cat! He’s even wearing The King’s signature white jumpsuit. We’re sure you’ll have just a hunk, a hunk of burning fun with Fortune Cat Fever – coming next week to Shake the Sky Casino!
